Our only restrictions are that you do not misrepresent the sender and that messages are in good taste. Messages that do not meet these basic requirements should be reported to Tommy's Dad (aka Clark).

How to Send a Virtual Greeting Card from Tommy's CyberNursery Preemie Web

Sending a card is easy. Just follow the instructions at each step along the way. The cards are stored in a non-indexed directory so only you and the recipient will know how to find the card. This directory is also pretty secure from spammers, so send your card knowing you will not end up on any junk list.

After you have completed the card, you will be shown a preview. If you do not like your card, you may edit it and then send it, or just cancel the request. The recipient will receive e-mail advising where to find the card.

STEP #2: PICK A PICTURE
Please select a picture from the list below using the little Radio Button selector. You may only pick one picture per card. If you want to see a full size image of a picture, just click on it. It will launch in a new window so you do not lose any information filled in on this page.

Please note, all of these pictures are of Thomas Clark King, born 15 weeks early on July 26, 1994 weighing 1 pound, 10 ounces (739 grams). Today he is a very normal little boy!

		Happy with Cannula This was taken shortly after Tommy came home from the NICU. Note the cannula -- he was still on oxygen. We had this made into a Christmas card that year.
		Tommy's Isolette Tommy was moved to the Isolette in his 6th or 7th week after having gained weight and having been removed from the respirator (1994).

By default, the picture links to Tommy's CyberNursery Preemie Web (but without comment). If you'd like to leave that as the link, do nothing. If you'd like to tell people about Tommy's site and the link, do so in your message (Step #5). If you'd like to change the link, change the following to the URL of your choice.

STEP #4: SELECT YOUR TEXT AND BACKGROUND COLORS
Using the two selector pulldowns below, please select your text and background colors. The script will not check to see if you have both colors set the same, so if you want your recipient to be able to read the card, please select two different colors!
