We bought my first American Girl Doll when we were visiting Chicago in 2004.  We saw girls with red American Girl bags everywhere and it made me want to have one to.    

The store in Chicago is cool (more like awesome!!!).  It has three levels that I saw.  I got to pick a doll that looked just like me.  Daddy also bought me and my doll a matching outfit.

I got my second American Girl doll in June 2005.  That one is Marisol who was only available that year.  I saved allowance and gift money for months so I could buy her myself.  Daddy even made me pay shipping and handling.

We adopted kit in November 2005.  Her old mommy outgrew her (that's crazy).  I'll NEVER outgrow my dolls!!! Ever!   They are so cute and adorable and stuff like that.
